EcoSurv Bat Box

With an increase in development of new sites and redevelopment of older buildings particularly those in more rural areas, availability of roost sites for our bat species is becoming more limited. With thoughtful planning bats can be encouraged to remain at old sites or even colonise new sites by the introduction of species specific eco-friendly building products such as the EcoSurv Bat Box.

The EcoSurv Bat Box has been specifically designed by EcoSurv in conjunction with Wienerberger Ltd to be incorporated into the fabric of the building and to encourage the use by species such as Pipistrelles, Natterer’s, Whiskered, and Brandt’s bats which are most commonly found roosting in buildings. It can also be open at the rear allowing access into existing cavities or roof spaces of older buildings for species such as Brown Long Eared bats. Another feature of the EcoSurv Bat Box is that they can be joined side by side to increase the roost space.

The facing of the EcoSurv Bat Box can be manufactured to suit any existing brick or stonework finish rendering them unobtrusive and aesthetically pleasing.
